Eligibility for solutions partner designations is determined through a partner capability score, which is a composite metric that evaluates your organization across three key pillars: Performance, Skilling, and Customer success. Performance covers the real‑world impact you’re driving, such as Azure consumption, successful deployments, and recurring usage of Microsoft cloud services tied to your engagements. Skilling looks at how many people in your organization hold relevant certifications, complete Microsoft learning paths, and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge aligned with each solution area. Customer success focuses on outcomes, including the successful completion of projects, customer adoption of workloads, and the ability to demonstrate meaningful business improvements. This data is captured and analyzed in Partner Center, where the partner admin can track scores and progress towards each designation through a dedicated dashboard. Once your organization reaches the required threshold in a given solution area, you become qualified and can proceed to purchase the corresponding designation.
